Dr. Haviland is an Associate Statistician at the RAND Corporation. Her current research focuses on complex sampling, causality, and economic and health disparities. Prior to joining RAND, she taught Carnegie Mellon University's undergraduate course on "Surveys, Sampling, and Society."
